Alp and Culture Trail

On two different paths discover exciting information on the themes of working on the alps (summer farms), culture, flora, fauna and geology.

The short path, suitable for pushchairs, leads from artist, Karl Bickel's, PAXMAL peace monument to Alp Schrina.
The longer route connects Schrina Hochrugg over Schrina-Obersaas with the Tschingla Alp. If you don't suffer from vertigo take the Sitzstein path which makes a wonderful circular walk Schrina-Hochrugg - Sitzstein -Tschingla - Obersäss - Schrina.

You should take the accompanying brochure "Alp- und Kultureweg Schrina" with you on these walks. Copies of the brochure can be found ready for you at the starting point and also in the Walenstadt Post Office. Along the paths you will find little numbered markers and the relevant explanation is in the brochure.
